What's error correction?

Higher levels let the QR code still scan even if partially obscured. 'H' adds ~30% redundancy and is ideal when you plan to overlay a logo.

Can it encode Wi-Fi?

Yes. Use the format: WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:password;;

Max text length?

QR codes have a hard cap around 4,000 characters, but practical scanning drops sharply above a few hundred. Use a URL shortener for long links.
